Rs. 69,219,000 grant distributed by AHD at UC Dost Ali and UC Jamali, District Qambar Shahdadkot with support from Care International in Pakistan. This grant was distributed among floods 2010 affected community of target area under PEFSA-II project objectives.
PEFSA II project started initially in 81 villages of two Union Council Dost Ali and Jamali District: Qambershahdadkot where we find out 500 beneficiaries of conditional cash grant 250 for agriculture 250 for Micro Business, unconditional Cash grant is 172 and 1500 Beneficiaries for Cash for Work total beneficiaries are 2172 in both Union Council.

project funded by Care International,
through this project 2172 beneficiaries has to support through different
categories of grant like as
unconditional grant its distributed into most vulnerable people, conditional
grant for agriculture and microfinance purpose and cash for work through this
grant we support villagers against their path levelling, this project is
implemented by AHD funded
by Care International.

" PEFSA Project aims to restore livelihoods of 2172 of UC Dost Ali and Jamali and increase food security of vulnerable household whose livelihood sources were badly affected during floods 2010. "
1500 villagers worked at 74 for 110 days to reconstruct their flood damaged infrastructure (pathways, water courses, houses, village streets and platforms) at 36 villages of UC Dost Ali and 38 villages of UC Jamali. Each beneficiary was given Rs. 300 for each day of work they perormed. With the initiatives of this project. 100 pathways, 80 water courses, and 100 houses were repaired and reconstructed. This project has vital livelihood improvements in lives of villagers and expected to improve their lives.
